In the first quarter 2008, tessi shows business volume in line with the trends revealed in the second half of 2007. Turnover of continued activity posts an increase of 22% to €48.12 Million on March 31st 2008.

This sustained growth in the activity comes from:

• The continued good orientation of the document processing activity which shows 9.7% growth at €17.51m as opposed to €15.97m last year. The data acquisition & capture activity supports this increase for 12.5% and operational marketing regains 6% growth.
• A 2.3% increase in the payment methods activity, in particularly affected by an increase in the currency activity of CPR Billets.
• The acquisition in July 2007 of marketing services divisions, GEIDE and the electronic return portal of the Cegedim Group. These activities represent additional consolidated turnover of €6.51m over 3 months.

On 31st March 2008, payment methods represent 50.1%, document processing 36.4% and activities acquired from Cegedim 13.5% of turnover generated by continued activity.

Objectives for 2008

For FY 2008, tessi, focusing on its core business, has the priority target of continuing a profit normalisation policy in each of its areas of expertise. Actions set up should allow the Group to reach a high operating margin once more in 2008.
Moreover, the tessi Group continues its efforts to withdraw from non-strategic activities in fund transport, securities management and the management of automated bank tellers.
