Paris, April 11, 2008 – Sagem Mobiles (SAFRAN Group) and ANOVO are announcing their project for the take over of the Customer Services Activity of Sagem Mobiles in Montauban (France) by the Group ANOVO, European leader of After-Sales Services in digital technologies.
As part of its strategy, Sagem Mobiles is seeking to optimize and rationalize its costs. This line of action has already resulted in several types of industrial and commercial partnerships; with an operator, a mobile phone manufacturer and a luxury brand, among others. Consistent with this strategy, ANOVO, appears to be the most obvious partner to sustain business on the Montauban site, within this project. ANOVO, would continue to carry on Customer Services for Sagem Mobiles on Montauban site.
For ANOVO, this take-over would represent an exclusive pan-European five-year contract with Sagem Mobiles together with access to specific capabilities (hot-line, management of spare parts, product expertise and audit of the repair centres). Also, it would allow to develop offers for SAFRAN through a 5-year framework agreement currently under negotiation.
The successful outcome of this project should enable each party to strengthen its core activity.
