OVER 350 AIRCRAFT INTENTS FOR SKYLANDER SK100

Dubai, UAE, 13th November 2007: GECI International receives today a letter of intent from the Group ACT Airlines- Aviation Management Solutions for 15 Skylander SK-100 to be delivered between 2011 and 2021

ACT Airlines Group, based in Istanbul, specialist of freight transportation is planning to expand from Turkey into Eastern Europe and Middle-East regions. The company operates 7 large cargo aircraft and plans to acquire by the end of next year a further three additional large cargo aircraft.

At the same time, GECI International signs with the Services Branch of the Group, Aviation Management Solutions, a partnership agreement concerning the distribution of the Skylander SK-100 in Turkey, Macedonia, Hungary, Bulgaria and in some middle-eastern countries, where AMS announces an immediate demand for 15 additional aircraft.

To date, the accumulated number of intents for the Skylander SK100 amounts to 356 aircraft.

Developed by GECI International engineering teams (700 persons) , the Skylander SK-100 is a multirole light utility aircraft, twin engines, certified CS-23/FAR23 with a 3300 kg payload, operating on all types of fields. The Skylander SK-100 meets operators requirements for passengers & cargo transportation (express, post, containers, perishable goods,…), survey and patrol missions, sanitary evacuation and humanitarian missions.

The design office of GECI International has already performed specific and non-specific works for over 350 000 hours. Wind-tunnel tests have been completed early 2007 and have confirmed the expected performances of the aircraft.

GECI International confirms the planning of the program with an ATO (Authorization To Offer) late November 2007 and the launch of the industrial phase in April 2008. The first aircraft will be delivered in 2011 from Evora (Portugal) where GECI International is building together with its private and public partners, the industrial site, Sky Aircraft Industries.
