The LATECOERE group’s first half-year 2007 consolidated revenue amounted to EUR 253.2 million, compared to EUR 227 million for the same period in 2006, an increase of 12%. The Wiring & Systems activity accounted for a part of this growth, with strong sales from developing programmes.

LATECOERE - Méaulte - St. Nazaire ville merger

Within the scope of the “Power 8” plan launched by Airbus, the LATECOERE group bid to take over the Méaulte and Saint Nazaire ville sites. A proposal has just been finalised.

The new Group thus established would rank in the worldwide top 6, with revenue greater than 1 billion euros, as of 2008:

• European leader for Aerostructures (European leader for nose sections and world leader for doors).
• Ranked 2nd in the world for onboard wiring (world leader for avionics bays).

The outlook for the group is one of significant growth with, in the short-term, the launch of Airbus A350XWB, and in the medium-term, the launch of Airbus 320’s and Boeing’s 737 replacements.

The Latécoère - Méaulte – St. Nazaire ville merger consolidates the future of the aerostructure industry in France .

A capital increase is being prepared. The description of the operation will be communicated during the second half-year and to be finalised at the end of the year.

With 2006 revenues of €432.7 million and an order backlog of €1,500 million, Latécoère Group is strengthening positions in three areas:

• Aerostructures (66% of revenue): fuselage sections and doors
• Onboard wiring and systems (29% of revenue): wiring, electrical racks/harnesses and onboard equipment
