A NOVO’s board of directors appointed Jean-Jacques Damlamian, an independent consultant and Special Advisor to the Chairman of France Télécom, as non-executive director at its meeting held on May 15, 2007.
During his career, Jean-Jacques has held several key positions at France Telecom:
-Director of Industrial and International Affairs from 1989 through 1991 focusing on France Télécom’s international expansion, specifically the launch of the group’s foreign investment policy.
-Group Commercial Director from 1991 through 2003: he diversified the product and services offering and the commercial network. He also launched the group’s internet business in France.
-Executive Director of Development from 1995 through 2003: responsible for defining strategy, international development, innovation, Research & Development and France Télécom’s information systems.
-Executive Director Group Technology and Innovation from 2003 through 2004.
-Since his resignation from France Télécom in 2004, Jean-Jacques has acted as consultant in the Telecommunications and Multimedia businesses.
Jean-Jacques’s appointment will boost the board’s prospective capacity in technological convergence and enable the Group to better plan its future offerings.
