The fourth quarter 2006 activity has kept up very well and allows the group to record its best quarter since its creation. The 2006 sales reached €190.6m, significantly exceeding the €175m forecast produced in the middle of the year on the basis of continuing activities (Excluding the automotive integration activities that were disposed of.)

For the complete financial year, the increase in continuing activities reached 23%. The performance results from the dynamism of the naval and semi-conductor activities, the excellent performance of our ECA subsidiary - whose activity increased by 72% - and the reverse of a more delicate situation in the automotive industry.

However, the profitability for the 2006 financial year remains marked by the consequences of the disengagement from the automotive integration activity, whose impact was taken into account from the first half of 2006.

Outlook for 2007

In 2007, the Finuchem group will show a more balanced distribution of its activities:

• the automotive sector will in future represent less than 35% of turnover,
• a new increase in Defence / Aeronautics activities is expected,
• the semi-conductor market remains solid and RECIF Technologies should experience a noticeable growth in turnover, notably due to the launch of new products,
• the naval sector retains excellent visibility with an order book equivalent to 4 years turnover.
