Compared 1st half turnover (1st January – 30th June)

The 2nd quarter of 2008 confirms the trends observed in the 1st quarter with the turnover of continuing activities reaching €48.1m, up 21.5% compared with the same period of 2007.

You are reminded that on 30th June 2008, tessi confirmed the transfer of its non-strategic operations, namely funds transport, securities management and automated teller management to Loomis France, the funds transport division of Securitas.

Growth dynamic confirmed over the half

Over the half, the turnover tessi achieved through its continuing activities stood at €96.3m, representing growth of 21.6%. This increase was generated by:

• Organic growth of 6.7%,
• The additional sum of €11.8m from the acquisition of the marketing services, GEIDE and electronic tax return portal of the Cegedim Group in July 2007.

Each of tessi ’s business lines contributed to organic growth:

• Document processing attained €35.9m in the half, up 9.8% on last year’s €32.7m.
• Payment methods experienced a boost in the second quarter (+7%) due to the combined favourable effect of all of its activities. Overall during the half, payment means increased by 4.6% to €48.6m, compared with €46.5m on 30th June 2007.

2008 objectives

For the 2008 financial year, tessi has set itself the primary objective of pursuing its standardisation policy concerning profitability in each of its areas of expertise. These initiatives should enable the Group to once again attain a high operating margin in 2008.
