A strategic appointment intended to manage Human Resources at AKKA Technologies Group and help it fulfil its international ambitions.

AKKA Technologies, a firm specializing in engineering and technology consulting, announces the nomination of Thierry Bourgeron as head of HR.

Within the management team, which he joined in March 2008, Thierry Bourgeron will be in charge of defining a fitting and appropriate Human Resources strategy for the Group. In this capacity, he will be in charge of conducting such initiatives as talent management, disseminating the Group’s values and ensuring that AKKA corporate culture is shared as well as harmonizing best practices.
Thierry Bourgeron will be coordinating the HR teams in AKKA’s divisions and subsidiaries across the world while ensuring that the actions put in train are sustainable over the long term. His wide experience will enable the Group to expand and meet its international challenges by capitalizing on current best practices. His mission is to provide consistency and harmony to the pursuit of shared ambitions.

Aged 55, Thierry Bourgeron is a law graduate and holds a degree from EM Lyon. He started his career in 1980 as head of personnel at RENAULT, a car company, and then for MERLIN GERIN (SCHNEIDER-ELECTRIC).
9 years later, he took over the HR department of the BILLON GROUP before joining RHONE POULENC where he worked for 12 years as international HR manager in the USA, followed by a stint as head of HR at RHONE POULENC AGROCHIMIE.
In 1999, he joined the GROUP CASINO GROUP as General Manager of the HR and corporate communications department.
